Established in 1999, Maria Nila proudly presents a full range of 100% vegan professional haircare, styling and colour - produced in our own factory in Sweden and shipped to all corners of the world. Our products are developed out of passion for colour and in solidarity with our wildlife, nature and communities in mind. By providing high-quality colour protecting products, produced in Sweden, to professionals and consumers globally, we make it easier for everyone to take a step towards a friendlier world.
To secure the highest product quality possible, we make sure to control the whole product process inhouse. From our chemists formulating the ingredients, to the Brand Studio designing the packaging and the production team filling the tubes (and everything in between), all the final product magic happens at the very heart of our business, in our own production plant at the south of Sweden. Product certifications
The largest animal rights organization in the world. Our PETA certification indicates that they oversee and ensure that we do not test our products on animals and that our ingredients are vegan.
Vegan Society is the largest and oldest vegan organization in the world. Founded by Donald Watson, who coined the word “vegan”, their certification assures you that all our ingredients are 100% vegan.
We climate compensate with ZeroMission and Plan Vivo, within emission reduction that creates social and environmental benefits in poor rural communities.
Maria Nila believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements. All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.
